They should be watered every 2 – 3 weeks. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. In the wintertime, you will need to water them less often. Overwatering can lead to leaf loss, misshapen leaves, root rot, and yellow leaves.

Most thrive with about 3 to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Occasionally, too much sunlight can cause scorch marks and brown spots. With too little light, the plant may stretch its leaves outward.
